check this idle problem

After my car came out from the mechanic (auto tranny rebuild) I noticed this problem:

When I turn my car on the rpms are like 800 to 1k but when I turn on the A/C the revs drop to like 550-600and when I put the D the car olmosts shut off.
some time i start the car and the rpms are like 1700 to 2k and the car begins to drop and up the rpms very quick and I have to turn the A/C on to drop the RPMS to like 1100.
Some times when i start the car the rpm are low (800) but when i drive and i stop are high (1800)!!!!
The car its suposed to automaticaly lift the rpms when I turn the A/C on so the should be in the same pos when the a/c is on or off.

Like 2 years ago I experience the same pro but was unplugged plug from the IACV-ACC valve and when I plugged it was fix but I check the plug and was plugged. I plug and unplug it several times to see what happend and nothing.

Have any one a sugestion for this problem?

BTW:
the new IACV-AAC valve its like 145 from courtesy

RE: Idle problem

Same thing happened to me. It sure sounds that your IACV-AAC is bad. The dealer replaced mine under warranty after 60,000 miles. This definitely cured my problem, except I had to adjust the Idle adjustment screw to get the RPMs down to normal idling. No problems since then, and I'm well over 100,000 miles. I hope this helped. Good Luck!

My IACV also was replaced at about 50k under warranty. My problems were different, mostly associated with cold weather. It didn't like cold starts - it would rev really low and sometimes even stall. I had to take it to a couple different dealers to find it, but it's been fixed and no problems since.

RE: Idle problem

I cannot remember how much. with labor and all, it would have been around $400 - i caught a peek at the invoice they use to charge to the Nissan warranty - but i cannot remember how much the part costed. maybe you can get a quote from Courtesy Nissan or nissanparts.cc.

good luck!
