Well, first off, thank you all for your suggestions, we took the most popular choice, and they are now complete, ready to buy/ship today. Again, you guys selected this style of the new polished aluminum battery tie down bars, and here they are. Give me just a few until I get the pics up on the net.

They are $35 shipped for all Maximas (5th gen will require 4th gen J-bolts, which we can provide for $5 for both, or you can get them at a local Autozone or any parts company.

I like!! I do have one question. Does the notches on the underside accomodate the Optima, or the tie bar itself accommodate the Optima? I know that you were saying that the Optima will fit, but I noticed that the tie down is raised from the battery itself in the pics. Looks great though!!

These tie-downs are just for show, right? They look cool and could also be used as brass knuckles in an emergency. I'll pick one up soon.

Again, the tie downs are $35 shipped, and they include all necessary hardware for a matching installation (polished nuts/washers).
Thanks
Alex

If you guys are planning on making colored ones, I think I'll hold off on getting mine. I really want a blue one that's why.
