That's pretty amazing. It's hard to believe that someone could own that many cars, but he's obviously satisfied and probably from a generation wherer people stuck with what worked for them.
My grandfather was like that - had a string of Buicks for 20+ years. Did all his own wrenching on them and wouldn't let any mechanic touch them.
It's a slightly romantic notion, but I can't think of any manufacturer nowadays that would earn such loyalty with me.

My boss currently owns over 70 Corvairs.
some with less than 5000 miles on them.
(others that are just shells that have been gutted because he restores them professionally.
He also has several race-prepped corvairs, three with a full fiberglass body and 300hp+ aluminum engines.
Plus, he does Concours with his trio of Austin Minis, owns a few MGAs, a Tasmin TVR 280i, and an assortment of other British collectibles.
not a bad living, I'd say.
