ECU codes post 5Spd Conversion
This is pretty much for anyone that is curious as to what ECU codes they will get after doing a 5spd conversion. This is from my personal experience. Almost all are related to the auto tranny. I think I read somewhere that getting a manual ecu will solve the ECU light coming on.
These are the codes I get (I would assume anyone else doing the conversion will get the same):
4-1 (Intake Air Temp Sensor, most likely just when I kept taking my intake in and out).
5-4 (Automatic Transmission Control Unit Signal to ECU)
11-1 (Inhibitor Switch) ?????I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THIS IS??????
11-8 (Shift Solenoid Valve A (A/T))
12-1 (Shift Solenoid B (Automatic Transmission))
12-3 (Overrun clutch solenoid valve (Automatic Transmission))
12-4 (Torque Converter clutch solenoid valve (Automatic Transmission))
12-5 (Line Pressure Solenoid Valve (Automatic Transmission))
It took forever to get these damn codes out! (well maybe 10 mins)......
