You know, you might be better off with the L-tuned since the realiability on the Lexo's are better than the Bimmers.
Good luck to ya nonetheless.

No to knock the IS300 as it is a nice car with lot of good qualities. I would surely take the 330 for an extra $$. People can recognized the Bimmer right away, but many will look at the Lex trying to figure out if it is NOT a modded Civic. I would probably go lower in price and get something that is a better bang for the bucks.

You need any help, let me know....i worl at a nissan dealership and i know ways u can get your car cheap...otherwise the IS is a bad as$ car, especially the l-tuned package...if you have your mind set on that, go for it, but keep in mind there are alot of cars out there in that price range and depending on performace or luxury, there are many choices...GOOD LUCK!

The IS300 is a sweet car. I'd personally take it over a 3-series or an A4 just because it's Japanese and reliable, and a good bit cheaper. Yeah, the interior isn't as nice, but that's a tradeoff.
I think even $4600 for the L-tuned package is a lot, but that's probably because I'm more into go-fast mods than anything else. The type of "Tuned" package I'd buy would have more aggressive cams, revised engine management, other engine tweaks, maybe some suspension and chassis upgrades, 6spd manual, and hopefully about 240 HP or so. If Honda can get 260 HP out of a 3.2L then Toyota sure as heck can get 240 out of a 3.0.
Or how bout forgetting all of that and just putting on a TRD Supercharger. Is one even out yet?
