pretty soon i'm going to dyno the Shelby Cobra 427 conversion that Jeff92se helped me do the other weekend on my 94 Max........should be interesting to compare the torque curve with the VG and VQ engines.....

Yeah, between doing my original Q45 swap in my 94 and then talking him into helping me with the 427 swap, he's been slackin' on his own "slowass" VE to Q45 V-8 swap..........

2. The boost actually comes on very quickly (as you can see from the Dynos. It is not as smooth as S/C.
3. Yes there is some lag. It runs close to a S/C (I think) until about 4000 rpm then it really takes off! Matthel had a good reason to use a T3/T4 so he can probably spool up faster and get more acceleration at the bottom end. However, at the same PSI you MAY see some loss at the top or higher end. It al depends about what you want.
4. Anything not perfect? hmmm! I really can't think of anything right now. You have to cut the bumper section to fit the I/C? The oil drain is not the most ideal location for flow, but seems to be working well.
