TGIF: It's Friday, relax and take it easy thread.

Mods, if you don't mind. Not everyone has OT access

-------------------
TGIF! So let's all start relaxing and take it easy. So what's everyone got to help make the weekend feel nice and easy?

Me? Nothing much. Will probably just play around in Photoshop like i always do (Note: Toyota Canary ring any bell?).

Of course, to keep this slightly on-topic. Check out my BMW/Maxima hybrid!

I'm thinking of spending all day tomorrow in the (heated)pool with my laptop (wireless internet) working on my papers that are due next week. I'll just need a few beers and some sunscreen (got mad burnt last time). Yes, my weekends suck.

Puerto Vallarta is cool. We stayed in the city a couple of days. I swear that town was taken over by Nissan and VW. You see them everywhere!

For most parts we drove 200km to a distant resort which was almost like we owned it. Only a handful of people were there (off-season)

Yeah, nothing but Sentra's for taxis. Kind of tought to fit 5 guys in those, but if you're cheap enough you'll find a way. The "new" VW bugs they have down there are pretty sweet too.

No, I did it last weekend and got sunburned. It's not my pool, it's my mom's. I wish I had a pool too.

In Taiwan there are lots of Cefiro Taxis. It's pretty neat. There are Sentra Taxis too. Along with Civics, Corollas, Coronas, etc.

That's how it is in the Philippines as well. Amazingly however, no Honda (even the lowly Honda City) can be made into a Taxi. How's that for exclusivity?

haha at the time we were together but little did I know that our relationship was sailing towards its doom much like the ill-faited Titanic (it wasnt that dramatic)

and the taxi ride and the guy who drives the taxi= cool as hell

I noticed that quite of few of the Taxi drivers in Taichung, Taipei had DVD players in their taxis. They never had them on while they were driving, but you could see it was in the dash retracted. The taxi drivers who drove the nuttiest were the ones with the nicest cars. Odd how that worked.

I never saw any DVD players in the taxis in Taiwan. Well ... then again, I went before DVDs were big ... I was concentrating more on hanging onto seat because of the non-existant seatbelts. Taiwanese cabbies scare me ... and I live in NYC.

In Taichung most of the cabbies drove pretty mello. I was there about 3 weeks ago. I think I rode in about 10 different cabs while I was there and only about 2 were psycho. The scooter/car interaction was far more interesting. I can't believe they don't hit each other.
