care question....

So i was an idiot and let my sister borrow my car for the night last night and little did I know (until this morning) that she had a bit of an accident in it. Apparently she had some green chile sauce in a container that opened up and spilled all over my precious passenger seat and down the side between the door. In a panic she decides to attempt to clean it up with towells and febreze. Now I get in my car this morning to go to school and about half way down the street I begin to wonder why my car smells like a mexican cantina. I question my sister and she breaks and tells me what happened. so my question is, what the heck do I use to get rid of this awful smell? The febreze my sister used smells almost as bad as the sauce itself. Anyone got any pointers for me?

Do wahtever you want to to clean up the mess first and make sure it didn't stain.

Afterwards, I htik the best be is to lower your windows and let the thing air out. Hopefully if a few hours of fresh air get in there, some of the smell will go away.

If not, get the biggest damn pine tree air freshener and hang it on your rearview mirror

how did you leave it? did you just open a box and leave it in the car or did you like put some in a bowl or something and close all the windows? thats actually a pretty interesting idea...
