Quick, easy mods on the cheap

I am a newbie here to the forum so be gentle! I have a completely stock black 2002 Maxima 6-speed that I absolutely love. After all, my last car was a 5-speed Neon....big, big difference! Can any of you guys/gals give me any pointers to quick easy and relatively cheap mods that will achieve extra HP, low-end torque and speed? I would be looking to spend a few hundred. Can any of the mods cause long-term engine damage? Thanks a bunch...and give me lots of replies!!!

Speed-wise, how much more do you want?

Anyway, there's an intake... probably the cheapest you can do for now. There's Berk, Stillen, JWT and Frankencar.

Handling-wise i would recomment an FSTB and/or an RSB. Springs would also be nice.

Congrats on the purchase!
