Using parts from other makes?

I'm curious to wonder if anybody has used OEM parts from other makes in their vehicles? If so, what and where and why? I know that a few members here are using Toyota oil filters as well as Toyota Red Antifreeze in their Nissan vehicles. Apparentsly with a Summit Racing oil cooiler, you gotta use a Ford oil filter. I used to have Toyota seat belt pads, Toyota and TRD emblums on my nissan.

Toyota Red Coolant - because it's the best out there; has a good reputation, especially with the Supra guys. It's in use in my 99 Maxima and dad's 99 TL.

Toyota Oil Filter for VE30DE - Good reputation for strong outer "can" design and lots of filter area in relatively small filter. VG cross reference is available and Jeff92se is SUPPOSED to get a VQ cross reference but that we've been waiting on that for years now.....
