I was driving on the Beltway trying to race this woman in an old 3000GT, at around 90 mph, and I realize my car isn't feeling right. The steering felt a little off, and I turned off my music, and I hear a sharp scraping noise coming from the front drivers wheel, or somewhere around there. I pull over, and it seemed to scrape more when I turned. I chilled for a few minutes checking for stuff under my car, and I checked the lugs on the wheels. My brakes smelled a little burnt, but nothing out of the normal. I drove it home, and it only did the noise occasionally. I drove it later, and it didn't even make the noise once, but the steering felt like it was a little weird. I know I need a new CV boot for my front drivers wheel, but I don't know if this is the thing making the noise. Please help me!! Thanks.
