RIMS: Help me choose.. the time is coming.

Well i'm getting my new rims VERY soon, Once I sell my momos. I want 19's and I've narrowed the field down to a 4 rims and I would like opinions on all 4. Also if you know where I could find them cheaper i'd appreciate it!!

Rim #1: 19x7.5" Racing Hart Evo C-5 (new version) $2199 w/ tires.
Wheelmax.com

Rim #2: 19x8" Hyper Silver Axis Hagens $1999 w/ Tires.
Wheelmax.com

Rim #3: 19x7.5" ADR GT-Sports. $1899 w/ tires.
Wheelmax.com

Rim #4: 19x8.0" Silver Konig Tantrums. $270 each.
Whalentire.com

or should I just F 19's and get basically any 18" that I want for $500 cheaper

To give you my opinion,

1. Are you going to take your car to the track alot and try to get good times?
if no go for the 19's.

2. The overall diameter of a 19 inch wheel with a tire and a 18 inch wheel with a tire is the same exact diameter.
235/35 19 = 235/40 18 except the 19s will be a bit more heavier.

3. 19 inch tires cost way more then 18 inch tires. All the rims you listed are all nice wheels whether in 18 or 19.
Hard choice but if that was me I d go with the ADRS first choice (not many people got them), second choice the konig tantrums, and third choice the Axis wheels, last the racing hearts. Also keep in mind the 19s are going to slow you down and your gas mileage will go down. And every summer if your tires need to be replaced prepare to pay at least $190 for a 19 inch tire.

Even though the C5s are so popular, they're by far the best in that list. Have you seen the new Racing Hart C3? I'm not sure if it comes in 19" but it's a sweet looking wheel. Doesn't look like you're into the mesh style, but still...

And as for the weight.. I don't give a damn. My car is 100% show and I have no intentions of ever racing it. I have a $4000 system going in this summer along with a bodykit going on, I just need a nice set of big rims to look good.

First question, what size tire. If your getting 235 35 19 forget the 7.5 wide it is not recommended. The other thing is the offset. I think you will be dissapointed if your wheels sit too far in. I would recommend the axis 19x8 in a 35 offset(if avaliable) out of all your choices.

ITs final... Axis Hagens it is.

#1 Racing Harts are like $300 more and the lip makes them look smaller

#2 Tantrums are played out.. And still pretty expensive

#3 GT-Sports are hot but to narrow

Show car then it is, go all out with 19's, car is going to look tight with any of the above wheels, those axxis I have not seen many cars with those wheels, how about I have not seen none at all besides the poster with the yellow cars in it. Just make sure you close the nasty gap on the fenderwell a bit if you have one.

Doesn't Shadow have 19" ADR GT-sports? They look tight on his car, but it's good to be different.

I think the Axis are a good choice, Now you're going to need the big brake kit
