1. turn off caps please
2. anylights on the outside of your car that are red or blue are ALWAYS going to be illegal (unless its a cop car )
3. nozzle lights are lame anyways....

Wire them to a switch. That way you can turn them off.

I had my hyperwhite nozzle LEDs wired to my blinkers and a switch. So they were off all the time and when I turned them on, they only blinked in whichever direction was blinking.

Used them mostly in rain/foggy weather or baiting for a race.

i think all nozzle lights are illegal, period.
and all blue lights are illegal unless you're a cop.
so its pretty risky to have blue nozzle lights if you ask me.
personally, i really dont find them very attractive whatsoever anyway.

They were new and original at first..... but now, I've seen them on minivans and even livery cabs in NYC. I'm sure they're illegal, but unless you're doing something pretty dumb or you run into a picky cop, you shouldn't get into much trouble for just that alone.

Heh, last week a friend of mine was pulled over and fined a huge amount of money because of his (fugly) mods to his '96 Civic. First, the cop pulled him over for the underbody neons (what he was doing with them on while he was driving down the highway I dunno). Then the cop notices his nozzle lights (wired to his blinkers) when he puts on his turn signal to pull over. And, to make things worse, when the cop got over to his car he noticed the near-mirror window tint.

Moral of the story: It pays not to rice

I got 6 tickets for blue lights on my car. I actually had 8, but he couldnt count (the wonders of public education). Each ticket was 50 bucks, so its not worth it. Theytold me that I could have been mistaken for and ambulance or something else. I fought the tickets and wound up paying 50 bucks.
