Well, it's neat looking,,...maybe nothing more. I might try it next time though. You can get it in copper or platinum(add a "P" to the end). It's the closest I've found to the racing plug that I want, but it doesn't cost $15+. I'd prefer one with a short angled ground strap. Hopefully this link will work:

our engine will eat that up in no time, plus a rough idle. bosch platinum 4's. i brought them back to where i got it then bought the NGK's for 6 bucks each. NGK's are what the doctor ordered.

 

I'm still trying to figure out how my Maxima ran 60k on cheap-a$$ Autolite 3924's! I got good dyno numbers, ran good times, and they even looked decent when I pulled them out ... the dealer where I bought the car lied through his teeth that the car was tuned before sale (used). I shoulda known better than trust the word of a salesman, but it ran so strong, who'd look for a non-problem like this? Heck, I'd run these again; equivalent to the $1.50 NGK's ... !!!

 

keep in mind that it will only arc between the 2 closest points, the only reason that'd be neat is after one point gets burned off, it has 3 more to go, its not like you get 2 or 4 sparks. please. what kind of plugs to 10 sec cars run? usually cheap 3 dollar crap plugs.

 

Those are NGKs by the way. I liked them not really for the 2,3,or 4 ground strap (#s K,T, and Q respectively), but for the open spark. I found a cheap(er) plug that does that with a single ground strap, but the heat range is like 10(ie,...very cold). I can get the 3 strap in like a 7. I think the number is BKUR7T or something like that. That would give me one range colder than what I'm running....plus the open spark. I'll probably try some next time I change.

u havent seen cheap until u've seen splitfire or sumthing like that........they got messed up like 3 weeks after sum ghetto mechanic place swapped them out.........went back and forced them to gimme NGK's........for free - MUAauahhahHAhahahah

 

Amazing! Looks just like the NGK's out of my '73 Mazda RX2. Later went to triple electrode - great plugs if they face the right way in your combustion chamber.

 

I had a '72 RX2. Talk about a sleeper ... another 4DSC! First day I had it (first day I drove a manual transmission) I raced a Dodge 440 Coronet. After I missed my 1-2 shift he pulled a length on me, then I stayed on his bumper till we shut down at 90! The guy was amazed. I would have killed him in the twisties. I've always been sorry Mazda shut down the series.
