Need Replies: Nasty Trunk Dilemma!

I have a silver '89 Maxima.

Here is my predicament.
At the time I acquired my car, I had 1 normal car key and 1 vallet key.

I have accidently locked my normal key in my trunk. An easy mistake, but a very stupid one.

My trunk popping lever is now broken (ironically, stopped working same night I locked my keys in trunk.)

The vallet key does not open the trunk.

I want my trunk back

Anyone that has any ideas please help me out. This really sucks. Is there any third (albeit difficult) way to enter trunk besides key and lever?

remove the back seats, knock out the cardboard "seperator", crawl through the metal supports and that should do it!!!

Nasty, I did that w/ my dad's Galant. But then I was 7. Did the same thing w/ the same car last summer and it was on the way to the airport . Couldn't you call a locksmith.

BTW, Get into the car, and pop the trunk That's what we did

either use the ski hole and dig through there or remove one of the speakers and reach in the hole there.

maybe your trunk pop button in the door panel got disconnected? did you check the trunk fuse?

He has a third gen...no button.

Do what DA-MAX said. That's you best bet. The opening to the trunk behind the third gen is not that small. You can get through it.

You can go to the dealer with your registration and vin and they can cut you a key right there for like $7.
