synthetic oil very sticky

I found the oil level raised about 1/5 of min~max area after my car sat for one week with Mobil 1. (Comparing with sitting for one day) Even after a week, there is still some oil on the backside of the filler cap and on the dipstick above oil level. This is an interesting difference: useful if you want to know what’s inside, annoying if you want to read oil level.

Re: synthetic oil very sticky

I think the dipstick on the Maxima is the worst I've ever encountered. I can only read it when the engine is totally cold. Otherwise there is too much oil in there to get a reading. Ridiculous.
