oh boy! the reviews are in - and the act can now be called "god"

so i get off work last night around 11:30 and on my way home decide to stop by franny lew (a popular strip for racing here in queens) just to see if anything's going on. sure enough i see the northeast guys cruising so i hang a uturn and join up with them. we're cruising back and stopped a light, and the foxbody 5.0 mustang does something stupid like burnout a little a run the red. so i think... okay - i'm a few cars back, whatever... then the next light turns green and he does a peelout and takes off. well... i look down at my odometer and noticed i had 496 miles since i installed the act and flywheel. close enough to the break in period i thought... so i lit up the tires and took off after him. i caught him at the next light and we were lined up next to each other. i kept looking over trying to get his attention but he wouldn't look at me... i knew it was on though. anyway the light turns green and i take off. he didn't do anything! nothing! bastard. so we're going and after the next light he takes off so he's cruising and i pull up next to him and pace him at about 20 mph. sure enough we both take off at the same time and ran it to about 100. i won't lie, he had about a car on me, then i pulled on him and he had me by a nose by the time we shut it down (not bad for having only a cai and chrome 18's that are heavyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy).

but here's the real story. on my 2-3 shift i chirped 3rd like a motherf.... oh my god, that has to be the greatest feeling. just think if i chirped 3rd with these heavy azz 18's wait until i put my 15's with drag radials on... i'll chirp 4th like mad.

just wanted to throw out another recommendation for the act clutch. this thing is banannas

what are you talking about....there are NO stages in ACT clutches...only differnet discs...and he has the STREET disc....the 4 puck and 6 puck discs would literally RIP a maxima's stock tranny apart.

correct. act has different disc's not stages. they have the street disc which is what i am running which includes the heavy duty pressure plate. they also offer a 4 or 6 puck but it is NOT recommended for street use at all.

Anyone Caravaning from the HID meet noticed alot of Maximas doing wierd things...esp 1HOTMAX who babies his car, but somehow "beat" on his car on Saturday night, dippin in traffic w/ crazy4maxima, and ckny. There were some interesting times, how many Maximas passed the IS300 when Toylet passed him ?(IS300 was WOT.)

-Must do it again.

All the burns were worth putting that muffler together, and re-doing the entire system.
