by a modded 2k vtech lude. he had intake and catback
I have greddy, y pipe and intake.

I installed the y pipe on friday, and figured it'd be used to it by now, but by 85ish, the lude had a car length on me.

My question is, how long does the ecu actually take to "learn" the pipe? I reset it this morning but it seems odd that i lost to the lude since when we raced b4 when i had only intake, he walked me by 1 1/2 to 2 cars. I figured y pipe would gimme more of a gain.

Since i reset, how long should it take to learn, in miles.

It is, what it is... don't feel too bad... sometimes it comes down to who gets the holeshot. You're an auto, right?

It is my understanding that our cars when @ WOT, don't use learned fuel curves. That it becomes an open loop. The ECU codes are during closed loop? So if thats true, when you hit that gas the ECU just give it at a certain rate regardless of what it has learned or what sensor errors it has.
