Yes, I did a search, and will do another after posting this. I'm very tight on time and was hoping someone here may have done this.
Dave Burnette said he thought he saw mention of someone putting a 5th gen pressure plate on a 4th gen, but couldn't be sure. They have the same diameter, and the flywheels are the same part number.
The 5th gen has 1400lbs (6354kg) of force, which Dave said is quite strong compared to 4th gen OEM (the numbers for which he did not give me).
Anyone know for sure?
I'm gonna keep searching in the meantime...

After sending my OEM clutch to ACT they said that a 5th gen press plate could fit a 4th gen, but not a 4th gen on a 5th. Hope that helps.Originally posted by Maxwell

Are you sure it wasn't the other way around?Originally posted by The New CLIMAX

I saw this post yesterday, but didn't know that the ACT was actually using OEM parts. Isn't it aftermarket?

I am about 95% sure.
Well ACT is aftermarket, but I sent them a OEM clutch so they could produce a 5th gen clutch, but it turns out its the same as the 4th gen. ACT clutch

ALL Maxima aftermarket pressure plates start off as OEM. They modify them to clamp more.
