Flowmasters anyone?
i have them on my truck and my bro's truck... but well v8's and flowmaster go hand in hand... DEEP tone! gotta love it.
but i was wondering if anyone has a flowmaster on their max or any other 6 cylinder that i could get a soundclip or even feedback on how it sounds...
i want it to sound nice not horrible like most of the imports or ricers around town... flowmaster has a soundclip on a Teg R and surprisingly it doesn't seem too bad... i am trying to picture the max will sound in between that and my truck.

anyone know for sure?

honest question how so? 2" is 2" yes the flow well but nowhere near the likes of the dynomaxes so i will still remain plenty of pressure and come to a good exhaust gas velocity... or so i think
otherwise what do you recommend to get a nice deep tone without that ricer sound... i also hate how most hondas exhuast has that pop as it idles down... why can't it be smooth? i think that bothers me more then the tone (most of the time)

BTW, I auditioned a Flowmaster on my Maxima once upon a time. It sounded a little too deep for my taste. I liked the tonality of the Magnaflow better. And no, I don't have my Magnaflow any more. I went back to the stock muffler when I installed my Y-pipe. The combination of the Y-pipe and the Magnaflow sounded good, but it was just TOO FREAKING LOUD!!!

deep is good! i like deep! i am asking all this cause my stock muffler on my 95 is rusting through so if i gotta replace that i am going all the way... full Stainless y-pipe, and custom stainless catback from a local shop that did my truck... all said and done about $550
i really wish i could hear the flowmasters and magnaflow on a maxima... and how deep is deep and why was it bad for you?

You should be able to hear them both. Just go to a reputable muffler shop that sells both Magnaflows and Flowmasters. If you don't have one where you live, take a drive to Los Angeles and I'll hook you up.
