Peeling clearcoat - need advice
My '96 SE (Pearl white) had some bodywork done on the rear end before I got it - it was a very good job because I had the car a year before I noticed it!
Well now the clearcoat on the rear bumper is peeling off and looks like crap - the bumper was obviously stressed/bent in the crash, sprung back to shape and the clearcoat was cracked.
Do I need to remove all the clearcoat on the panel I'm spraying, or just feather the edges? I'm not planning on spraying colour - the colour layer is ok.
What kind of paint is this? Acrylic Urethane? Acrylic Enamel?
Thanks!
