My Philips 7200K were purple as well before I switched over to 8000K.

you know it my bumper conversion is pretty uncommon, as well as the cut auto shifter, and my "secret exhaust"

I guess I'm one of the few 3rd gen's with H&R springs
I installed my own remote start/unlock on a 5-speed
I blend in well in the UK too.

You stand corrected, I've had the Purple HID's for a while now. I believe I was the first to actually put them in a Maxima, ask Freddie. I took one of the first kits he got in with "Crystal White" 9004 bulbs.

You must have a modded max to get such a big freakin head inside!

And If you got MB Quart, you ain't got the best sounding max, their tweeters make my ears bleed.

Big head or the truth, bottom line is I get told I have one if not the best maxima people have seen in person. That comes from people. I have every part of the car execpt the paint moded, thats pretty big. But as for quart, thats a common out of date misconception. Never mind all the tuneing instraments in my car, that could fix it even if it was true. But I guess your a brand jockey, one of those that thinks you have to have brand A to have good sound, and if it's brand B it's not, never mind that there are high end.

what makes mine unique.......

1. the unpainted front bumper
2. double sided tape where my Stillen kit used to be
3. running on only 5 cylinders(dead injector), sounds like an old Chevy
4. right door still with #'s from junkyard on it(replacement from accident) $700 bucks left to spend!!!
5. dirty *** 4th gen sawblade rims
6. no liscense plates
7. pin stripes missing from replacement door but still on other doors
8. no corner lights or turn signals
9. interior got all types of papers and crap in it
10. Basically IT LOOKS LIKE THE ULTIMATE BEATER!!!!!!

I think I win!!!!!!!!! tell me who has a similar 3rd gen??

BTW...this is all temporary, soon it will be back up to par!!!

2) custom blue led's in the front door handles/cups/switches/security, etc..

3) one of the 1st to get clear/reds from DavidL when he 1st started makin them

4) 2/3 of my Stillen kit is NOT painted

5) FULLY POLISHED valve/intake/timing case, all a/c lines polished out BY HAND!!

6) rewired my glove box light and trunk dome light(relocated)

7) re-wired factory fogs to go on weather or not the car is running or not and with brights!

think thats it

Well, I have wood trim that's turned brownish-yellow, and the back of the driver's seat is exposed--you can see the foam, coils, cheesy lumbar, and with all that you get 18" rims. But my 98 SE is still worth more than kbb's 10.6k no matter what they say (I better not check it again it may be down to 9500)

NO NO thats not what I meant I meant here in New Orleans, I am sure quite a few people already had the purple color lights. I have not seen them on other cars that dont come with HIDS.

I'd say my front grill. Other than that I know my suspension setup is not what too many people have in addition to being a 5spd GLE

where is ming for this post???

tony - i have most of your mods covered... we will be soldering a lot of stuff in my car when i come home.

where is my air ride when i need it!!!!???

- i30T seats ALL around
- was only dual exhaust with dual mufflers (i guess i am the only one with half a spare tire well)
- chrome dash kit
- there may be a few other things.. just wait people.

it's hard to have stuff that no one else has because like myself, people get inspired when they see things that interest them and they want to do them to their own car.

Well mine is unique because.......

1) it holds the record for fastest stock Maxima out there as far as legitimate times go
2) it strikes fear into the Integras when I go to the track
3) it is driven by me

I am not a brand jockey. There are many brands better than Quarts! To say you have the best with having no idea what other non braggers have is begging for flames.

You have some great mods, great tunes and a sweet Max, but no matter what you have, there is always better out there.

Even before Freddie started selling the Hanabi "purple" there were at least 2 companies that made retrofits in 1998 and people started to use 98 Mercedes S500 HIDs which were D2R by Philips, and glued the burner in to make the first "retrofit" kits of the day.
I still have one system, the ballast is about 3X size of the Hanabi Ballast and about 4X in weight. Wiring is one power line, a separate ground, and then the HID Plug+ wiring, which is almost 3 ft long.

Shaved and Molded Max

I think I may have the only fully shaved Max. But, I could be wrong I just haven't seen any others like it. I shaved door handles, door moldings, antenna and emblems. I have a custom paint job (BMW titanium silver and a blue pearl mixed into clearcoat). I have Stiilen Kit molded onto car all around. I have interior mods too that i am sure others have. So with all that i think my max is unique at least to me.
