My friend has a pontiac grand am (2000). It's stock, has a 2.4 liter 4 cylinder engine with 150 hp, auto transmission, and weighs at 3116. I have a 95 Maxima, also stock, with the 3.0L V6 with 190 horses and curb at around 3000 even and is automatic. were debating endlessly and he seeminly refuses to accept the fact that maximas are the best. oh well im venting now, but he needs to be put into his place. so who would win the race, if were about equal drivers?

This is related. I used to slap my friend up and around when he would try to race me with his '92 Chevy Lumina Z34, and now another one of our friends got a 2002 Grand Am SE automatic, and I have a 97 automatic SE with PR CAI. I am pretty sure i will beat him, but i also have 120,000 miles.

Should i be sweatin it at all?

seeing as you could prolly beat a V6 one but it would be close i'm gonna say you would rape him endlessly. he's high 16's your high 15's. i wouldn't even sweat.
