Thanks! Anyone know if 35% is legal...it looks great. I'm sure I can find a shop to do it if it isn't.

 

I don't think 35% tinting is legal in most states. Check your state's law though - the law for tinting is different for each state. Maybe someone can post a link to it for North Carolina.

www.maximaforum.com has a section on the home page that tells you the laws in some states, you may want to see if it helps you out, most states are 35 on the front and 20 on the rears and back....

you live in NC and according to that website it is legal for you to have up to 32% tint on all 5 windows (front 2 and back 3)

personally it cost me $190. don't go to a place just because it is the cheapest. usually in a situation like that you get what you pay for. but expect to pay anywhere from $150 to around $220.
it isnt anymore for 4% than it is for 50% i dont believe. it isnt where i got it at least.

no, no updates on the car yet...that i know of at least. i am at school now and my dad is dealing with insurance and the body shop at home. im going to give the shop a call tomorrow to check up on whats going on.

 

estimate came out to $9700 for anyone who was curious.
