The less power ya got the more ya gonna race, just look at Hondas

Nothing better than cruising 15mph past a rice mobile in a wildly loping V8 with more displacement than their trunk space.
I get the feeling that a lot of these people never use the power or handling these cars have. I think it is more of an image thing. Nothing better than driving around slowly in an uncomfortable, rough riding, gas guzzler that costs a fourtune to insure , but it's their money.

Of course some of these people use the power sometimes, and it is a nice feeling to know you can stomp on the gas and GO whenever you want.

I think the Maxima gives you just engh power and sportieness without giving up space or a comfortable ride. Plus it is not a cop magnet, and can put most of those little ricers in their place

My 23 year old son is pretty damn glad old people drive Maximas. He received my 97 SE 5 sp as a college grad present and I bought a 02 which I will bet he ends up with when I buy another.

Maxima is classified as a premium midsize car. In my opinion, younger folks (16-25 yrs old) simply want to improve their image by buying more upscale thing. A high-school kid would certainly look good in a car that most of his teachers can't afford.

I am 24 yr old college student, and I just hate those little 2-dr coupes. All of my prev. cars have been sedans.
I fall in the "younger folks" category but i didnt buy my max to improve my image...I wanted it because it has plenty of power, comfortable amount of room for passengers being that i drive some of my friends alot who are too lazy to have their own car and it has a good reputation. Alot of other kids in my High school have 3rd gen maxs but in horrible condition, im the only VE in the lot And yea i hate little 2 doors too...4 girls in a 2001 civic coupe with altezzas in my HS parking lot; although if it were 4 guys then it'd be a more serious problem
