Yeah, it's another great Sorona product. It took the body shop 2 hrs just to get all the imperfetions out of the damn thing and it still looks a little wavy.

How did I miss this thread?

The car looks amazing. I love the plate relocation... it actually reminds me a whole lot of the Toyota Avalon now not like it's a bad thing, just resembles with the red/clear tails and plate in the middle. But it looks very nice. I like the rims especially. can't wait to see it in person

Since 4/20 everytime I see a Blue Beetle I think about your car.

I almost mistaked your car for an Si. Sorry its the blue and plate location.

Very unique, but reminds me of a Si.

Execution top notch, can't wait to see it in person.

I know, I would see beetles and cringe cause I wanted my car back! How dare you compare to a Honda!

Thanks man, VW electric blue is the color. I plan on taking to the track this summer. I'm not really into sound systems but I would like a TV but I'm broke for now

Jeff, Sorry man...I didn't mean to criticize the blue, like some other people, but I do smile when I see a Blue Beetle, and think about tha 4/20 meet in the rain when you said that you were gonna have your car painted VW electric blue, and within a few minutes a Blue Beetle passed by.

The Trunk took me by surprise, and the red-white combo, make it look like an Si, I didn't say Honda.

I refer to "it" as Si. Since I may get one as a daily beater/commuter in a few weeks,(Stolen Recovery, stripped interior, missing head/intake manifold, cut exhaust system, blah blah $450.) while the Maxima gets a new heart/legs/ arms/ etc... transplant.

That's ok, I'll let the H***a remark slide. Are you doing all the work to your car? If you don't mind mabye I could pop it during the operation. 4/20 was fun, even in the rain.

I had a guy off ebay ask me about my 2K since he found out I blew my motor last Thursday, and he offered me 8K for the car w/ blown motor and tranny, and I was willing to take it due to attorney's fees piling up, but now he changed his story, and doesn't want the car. I found out about the SI around 5pm today while I was in Flushing doing the rear brakes on a friend's Jetta. $450 for a Si, and it honestly seems like minor work, or just part the bish out and easily make back the investment maybe more. I already have a B16A head, and SPARCO MILANO's in the Basement(need brackets) Could easily get dash and gauges, everything else is a phone call or a short walk away.

I would like your assistance w/ the Maxima tho. I gotta show you something

Thanks! The guy at the bobyshop wanted to kill me over the grill. He had to cut the pastic and mold it. Then he had to use some kind of plastic resin and sand it down. He said it was a real pain but I wanted to do it for a while. I've been meaning to ask you, is your engine polished or plated? It looks so "chromey" . I polished mine but it doesn't look as good.

i was going to dip everything, it wouldnt have been too much more but dipping can crack with a lot of heat... so instead i had it polished and i just use mothers metal polish whenever i wash my car.. shines really really nicely.

what gauges are those?? damn i need to catch you on IM, posting this is taking too long..
