Long Story,
I'd never driven a 5 spd Maxima until I bought my 97 SE so to my knowledge that was how any 4th gen 5 spd would drive, but I was wrong. Bottom line was that the car had been murdered, even though it only had 56K miles when I bought it. Then I was in pursuit of a 97 SE Auto with Black Leather and every other options and I looked at many but most had prior accidents or odometer fraud and also the auto wasnt nearly as fast as I expected. Then all of a sudden I saw the car I have now which is a 98 SE with every possible factory and dealer option, when I saw that it was a stick, I was hesitant, but as soon as I drove it, I realized that this is the way a 5 spd Maxima is supposed to drive. So now I'm loving it and I got an incredible deal as well.
