Picking up my car from the bodyshop tomorrow

Tomorrow will be the day I get my car back. It'll only have been 4 days but time passes by so slowly when you don't have a car.

Anyway, the bodyshop repainted my rear trunk lid and spoiler. How should I best inspect their work? Are there any tricks or tests to do to insure its quality; any special viewing angles that will allow me to determine the matched closeness of the painted color?

Will there be anything else that I should know or do before I take the car off their lot?

Thanks in advance for the advice.

Bill...best of luck to you...

definetly check all the edges near the wheel wells and exhaust for overspray and inside the trunk seals for the same. The edges should be smooth without any orange-peel looking finsih and should be without drip marks from them spraying too close next to edge rather than spraying constant past.

Definetly look at the final product under clear outer lighting in mid-morning to mid-day.

Take care and Happy Motoring!
