I was just wondering. When Car companies rate the Flywheel HP is that with all the belts,altenator ect. hooked up?

 

yes....why would they test an engine without permanant parts on it that will change the rating??

 

I don't know for sure, but i'm guessing no. I know when i've seen them test racing engines, they have them out of the car and the only thing there is just the engine without all the gadgets that go with it when it's installed in the car. Hope this helps.
