Ok it rained like God knows what last night and when i pulled into my garage, there was a steady whine/ squeel.... I opened the hood and the pulleys/ belts were wet. You guys think something is seriously wrong? and btw, this wasnt the first time it happened either

 

if it just made that noise only when it was wet, then it mae the noise cuz the belts were wet, if it does that while its dry, then ur belts are loose, either way change ur belts.

 

I have had a brand new belt squeal for a few seconds after I went through a puddle of water. I'm sure your's made that noise just cause the belt(s) was wet. They may need replacing though. Go by the condition of the belt though not because it squeeled when it got wet.
