don't put screws through your floorboard so that you step on them and poke yourself in the foot.

don't hang them just below your frame rails. first speedbump you hit, you get to buy new ones.

Don't do it. Your car looks good enough already, don't ruin it.

I 2nd that comment. NEONS=RICE

The Maxima is a classy car, keep it that way, leave the Neons to the Honda kids.

i want advice on the install..

the neons are going to look NICE AND/OR RICED OUT~!
i have the blue ones but they broke because...
the CLAMPS that hold the tubes were so damn weak it broke off easily... i even lost one in the highway once..how sad..
make sure your clamps are REAL STRONG!
dont drill too low of course...
make sure all wires are tied with wire tabs. any loose wire will be caught and ripped to shreads...
hey good luck and ask any questions if u need to. let me be the first one to see how your lights come out. its going to look HOT! HIN~!

PS: watch out on queens blvd.(NYC) drivers...i escaped an illegal U_turn today! haha yes thank u god..

best way to install neons is to put them on a 19 second civic, because thats where they belong. flaming aside, they really are dangerous, cuz if they come lose you could have a blowout and if you go to the track to race - you'll have to take them off, no tracks allow you to have them on when you race, and i don't mean on as in glowing, i mean on as in one your car.... so, do what you want, its your car - other than that, i have no idea how to install them, but i might know some of my civic friends who might...

i dont understand why you guys think the neons under the car are:
gay/riced out/ugly/ not kool.....list goes on...
whats so bad about them? seriously, well maybe if you are old and well past your teens and 20's you might think its ugly but look at some maximas with neons next time...
forget civics and integras...
they are HOT and KOOL. who cares if its riced out?
MAXIMA = IMPORT CAR from JAPAN... Import cars are supposed to have neons and look awesome with all these useless and expensive mods.
so can you NON-NEON LOVERS cut us neon lovers a break?
try to understand from our side!

not sure what track you goto but in MD( @ Caoitol Raceway), they never press BenBlanco about his neons... and about it being a safety issue, I guess we shouldn't have body kits or auxiliary fog lights that hang down since they could also come a loose and cause a blowout...yes!?!?

Neons can look good when done right. Hate to bring up the movie but take a look @ F&F. Vin Deisels car ie the RX-7 looked sweet with the red neons.

The eclipse however did not....

Just depends on how its done.

Where did you hear that? Here are car-prep steps taken from the SCDA:
"First of all, all loose items should be removed from the automobile, take time to clean out the trunk, and empty the car completely."
Neons are not exactly loose items.
