new best time at the track.....

well, i decided to go out to the track tonight even though there was a chance of rain. my first run was a 15.12 and then i ran a 15.013 and later on i ran my personal best of 14.86 @ 93.2 mph with a 60 ft of 2.26. all i have wanted to do is break into the 14s and i finally friggin' did it tonight i know a few guys have done it on here completely stock but i think this is pretty good for me considering the fact that i only have an intake (and a muffler ) and our track sucks incredibly. maybe if i work on my launches i'll break 13s next! (joke)

Trevor

p.s. Dave B you proud of me? hey that rhymed.....

Hey nice time, looks like you improved a lot from your first run. Maybe one day I can break into the 14's or not.

j/k...good time. I wish I woulda gone out there in the early evening, but i'm glad I didn't waste the money to watch for like half an hour before the rain.

Just think of how fast you'll be when you have as many mods as the great Dave B. himself...

Good job, gimme a call next time somethin's goin on.

Congrats Trevor. I wish I would have come out. Did you keep the same shift rpms (1-2 6500, 2-3 6200, 3-4 6000)? Everyone must consider that we run at 1100' above sea level. It doesn't do a lot to ET/MPH, but it does do something (about .1 and 1mph). As for our track, Kansas City International Raceway, sucking, I've changed my mind After racing at Mo/Kan and seeing thier setup, I'm very happy with KCIR. My Last time out at KCIR I got 4 2.2X 60 foots. As long as you run in the right lane, all is good.

Now I've got to get some more mods before Trevor catches up to me. I've got him smoked in trap speed, but not in ET. Trevor, get a Y-pipe, B-pipe, and UDP and we'll see who's got the quickest Max in KC

yeah it would have been cool if you came. i thought about posting it but i figured we'd get rained out sooner so i didn't bother. you still gonna help me with my suspension? i put my car on a lift at work and they did an alignment and told me my dust boots and springs covers or whatever were all faling apart i think my main things i want to do are suspension, tires (cuz i need em bad) and VI and then a y-pipe. rims may come towards the end of the summer or fall. i'll be faster than you one day!

Congrats on your running in the 14s Soon2B. I was trying really hard to get my stock 2K2 auto to run in the 14s yesterday at Etown but was only able to run a best time of 15.033sec@90.58mph, though my 60' time was 2.264 sec.

thats not a bad 60ft time...i would've thought you'd be in the high 14s already keep trying! now that i think of it....you're as fast as most of my runs were and youre AUTO!

Congratulations on making it into the 14s! I haven't been to the track yet. I will get my car dynoed for the first time by EOM. I will then use that as a reference point. Then I will install my intake and exhaust and then go back to the dyno facility to test the mods. Then I will hit the track...

He has a '02 Maxima though. Don't those suppose to run mid to high 14s stock? I know 6spd '02 Maxima can run low 14s stock.
