13.8?!?! 100-shot I take it? That's an awesome time, even Synki couldn't hit that.

I just had time for 1 run with the 100. I was on a 75 before that and hit a best of 14.02. I just dropped to a .038 bypass and was pretty close to 85 psi. I messed around most of the day NA trying different suspension stuff, launching methods and tires.

You should be happy with the 13.8 with the 100 shot. There were a few members here that couldn't break 13s with the 100 shot. So how did you do it? The other guys said they have a hard time getting traction. What about you? If you don't mind, could you tell me your launching technique? Like what rpm you launched at, tire pressure, etc. Thanks.

I tried launching at 1000 and full torque or around 2000 but not really any difference. Tire pressure was around 18. I think the main thing that helped was blocking the rear suspension and chaining down the front to reduce weight transfer. It made a difference of around .15 NA, but didn't switch back and forth to try and see how much difference there was on spray. I spent about 3/4 of the day running NA and trying a bunch of different stuff, finally tried the spray late in the afternoon for about 5 runs and only 1 with the 100 shot.
Traction is a problem though as soon as I hit the spray in 1st it would break loose and shift and keep burning for a bit before hooking up.
Weather was cool so that was a big help and track is at 700'. My 60' is still not good so still working on that. I am getting a 2K1 muffler this week as well to replace the stock one.
All runs were made with transmission in Drive and I just remembered I forget to turn off O/D I will have to see if that makes any difference as well. My trans shifts around 6300 in auto so I just let it do its thing.
One other thing that probably helps is the VSLD in the traction department. Although it heats up and goes away if you don't space your runs. I did two runs back to back within a couple of minutes and ran a 15.3 second run. So it works great but don't abuse it.

They both went, I think 14.7 was their best. Not great traction and they were getting a lot of wheel hop. Fun to meet them though and have someone there to confirm my time.
