stupid questions !!! sigh....any help would be appreciated

what's the difference between rear section, catalytic converter, catback, y pipe, b pipe?
I have no idea about modifying cars as u can see

HEADERS---Y-PIPE---CATALYTIC-CONVERTER---B-PIPE---Muffler

Cat-back - includes B-pipe and muffler
Rear section - bolt-on muffler
