Dude, I'm just as much a Honda lover as you, even owned a Accord for 5 years (4th gen.), but come on...that "Special Ed." Accord is a joke! While the Si was at the dealer being prepped the day after we bought it (I insisted we take it home that night) they lent me an S.E. accord for a few hours. You can't even compare that car with the Max. Felt like a pig compared even to my old 91 Accord. IMHO the 4th gen Accord are the best to date, but I suppose that's not a non-biased opinion. The 4 cyl in the new accord is anemic with an auto, way to weak for the weight. The car felt about as sure-footed on the road as my grandparents Crown Vic. LOL!

Honda went the VW route with their special edition cars, a few B.S. features off the high end model but none of the important ones. The only decent one they've made was the 4th gen SE accord, which actually had a better tuned motor (F22A6) but for some stupid reason in true Honda style only availible in an AUTO, Ugh! Well I guess they're doing something right though, no longer is it mustangs but honda has taken rights to the phrase "...are like a$$hole, everbody's got one" hehe.

alright I'm rambling, but please agree that the special editions ain't so special?

Premimum is about $1.75 here in West Omaha. That's at Amoco with I think a 92 (maybe 93?) octane rating.

You can go to the "sams club" gas station and get 91 octane gas (which is their premium) for only $1.35 a gallon. Is it worth it?
