2.5" good luck finding a place to do mandrel bending, 2.5" press bent will do fine, if you have a Y-Pipe, remember to use a resonator or you will sound like a Honda w/ rasp and tinny high end.

Worse comes to worse, get a GReddy System.

Definitely get the resonator.

I had mine cut off and it sounds like CRAP! It's pretty embarrasing. I can't wait to get my exhaust replaced.

Nope, you'd loose exhaust velocity if your aren't supercharging. Check out this very good article (compliments of mztg)

Trevor-
Why in the world are you gonna waste your money on a custom catback when your major bottleneck is your stock Y-pipe? If anything go buy the Courtesy B-pipe ($200) and have it welded up to your aftermarket muffler. BTW, I don't know of any shops in KC that can do a full mandrel bent B-pipe for under $200. Why not get something you know will fit the first time? If anything, save yourself some money have a exhaust shop cut out the huge stock resonator and weld in a smaller bullet resonator along with a new mandrel elbow after the resonator. These two pieces are the biggest restrictions on the 95-96 B-pipe. Best shop for custom exhaust work, Midwest Exhaust on Shawnee Mission Parkway in Overland Park, KS.

ok, the main reasons i was having this done were to
1. get rid of that crimp in the pipe after the resonator
2. get rid of the resonator because it clanks against the heat shield like crazy.
3. to fix a leak in the pipe.
i went to a muffler shop in blue springs and the guy fixed my exhaust leak (which there were 2 places, 1 by muffler and 1 tiny one by resonator) and just ran a straight 2.25 (whatever the factory is) pipe from the cat to a part of the pipe after the crimp. the guy was really cool and he only charged me 30 bucks for all of it. the only difference in sound that i have found is its a little deeper. and there is a little fartiness in around 5 or 6k. no biggie... thanks for all the replies guys
