Re: LSD Yes or No???
Advantages are that both wheels spin or try to spin on acceleration vs just one, on the 1/4 mile that is a big advantage because you always hear everyone on here complain about no traction.
It is also better for cornering, when you accelerate coming out of a corner the power is transferred to the wheel with the least traction and it almost pulls you out of the corner, has to be felt to be believed.
Disadvantages are that in limited traction situations, ie rain or snow, if you hold the throttle down past the point of loosing traction both wheels spin which causes the front of the car to go sideways vs going almost straight in the same situation with no LSD.
To me the advantages far outweigh the disadvantages, all it takes is to back off the throttle when you lose traction in limited traction situations, I do that anyway.
A one wheeler peeler is not the best way to a fast 1/4 mile. I am fortunate to have VLSD as standard equipment in my car, I can't imagine life without it.
