In my 97 SE, I havent yet replaced the front speakers. For anyone else who has the Bose system in the front that has the tweeters and mids in the doors, what did you do to run the new wire through the jambs, as the factory tubing is thin as **** and cant really fit anymore wires through it.

Well, you have some options... You can route the wire through the factory tubing, which is a pain in the *** and probably not possible. You can slice open the factory tubing, run the wires through it, and then cover the whole thing with electrical tape (this is what I did). You can run cut holes in the grommets and rout the wire through and then either just leave it there, wrap it in a tube, or wrap it with electrical tape. Er, I think that's about it...

it is possible, cause ive seen it done, but only professionally. You probably have to snake something through, like a coathanger or something and attach the new wire and pull it back though. I just ran mine outside it and taped it over. The easiest way to go from the inside under the dash and then out. Trying to go in from inside the door proved to be impossible for me.

I did the same

I cut open the factory wiring cover that runs into the door, ran my wire inside, and then taped it back up with electrical tape. It worked really well.
