Sterling Mist with charcoal leather interior.

I really wanted pearl white like the 99 SE that we have, but it only comes iwth frost leather interior, which is way to LIGHT!!

I didn't get majestic blue or black because i had a dark noble green protege and it was really really hard to take car of because finger pprints even show up.

Great choice of car! I love that color... and I'm sure you will love that car. Get a bra or clearbra quick before you drive too far!

In CDN Dollars, MSRP was like 37400 for SE with 6speed and leather package and HLSD. I got it for about 33,000, i wonder if i got ripped off or not... oh well..

Just wondering about the clear bra, i was going to get it, but it looks horrid on the car. should i really get it though?

In Southern CA, I just bought a 2K2 that's listed here:

2002 Maxima SE
Majestic Blue
Frost Cloth
BOSE System
Sunroof
Side Airbags

I started out by just e-mailing EVERY frickin' dealer I could in LA and Orange County. Got a bunch of quotes back, let them battle amongst themselves. First real quote was at 26,900 or something. I ended up paying 25,700, minus a 1,000 rebate and paid cash at 24,700. Happened to be 400 under invoice. So if anyone is looking for a 2K2, now is a good time. I think around here in CA, I see a ton more Altimas than Maximas, so they are really trying to get them off the lot. Just some info for everyone. BTW, in SoCA, the nice dealers I dealt with were Nissan of Orange and Gardena Nissan. Santa Monica Nissan, Miller Nissan, and Nissan of Long Beach were all ****ing me around.

really ticks me off in cases where you get a cash rebate which you sign over to the dealership, and then those greedy mo*%^&^%$#$%^ take a portion of that too.

Truth be told the dealer made about $1500 on your deal. For what? With the 4th gens they were going for about $2600 below invoice when there was a 2k rebate. The rebate eventually went up to 2.5k, and I found many people were still only $2600 below invoice. The dealers were greedily taking advantage of those who didn't know any better and the additional $500 from the factory rebate were going into their pockets!

IMHO on a Maxima you should always be below invoice, that's common sense. It should not take a rebate to get below invoice. They're not fooling KBB so don't be shy about it. Yes, it's true, dealers do not like it. But they got a $900 cushion from their holdbacks. I just can't stand it when a factory rebate is swallowed up by them--it should benefit us, the buyer. They're as sneaky as realtors!

That's a new signature I am sure, see how somebody said he has changed it. I can't imagine seeing any Americans becomming offended by any sort of derogatory remark towards Osama Bin Laden...if they are offended they should leave the country.
