Getting everything to line up right was a PITA. It would have been a lot easier with a transmission jack, but I didn't have one. Taking everything apart, dropping the tranny and putting everthting back together again wasn't bad at all. Just getting the tranny up and aligned correctly probably took 1/2 of the total labor I put in to the job.

i tried looking but the nearest o'reiley and autozone didn't have it...so it was all man-power...the tranny itself was not heavy...i can physically lift it up with one hand...but due to the positioning and the space to work with...it's damn hard without the proper equipment...

The transmission itself is 107 lbs. The problem is the space, angles and handholds that you have to work with. I used a floor jack to help, but now you have to work around that as well. I'd much rather change a knock sensor
