clay bar works but i came out with a beter method,
1. wash your car with car wash soap (not dish washing soap)
2. dry it
3. use this stuff called goo gone ($3.99 at k-mart) the stuff removes everything on the surface better than clay and faster/ leaving a nice orange smell to it!!!!
4. wash car again with soap but don't dry it/ leave the water on and use your clay bar to remove the hard on dirt.
5. dry the car and use wax pro canuba wax to wax it....
6. grab a beer/ sip /sit back/ and feel her cause it's gonna be sooooooooo smooth!

this method will save you about 2 hrs

BTW, make sure you get Goo Gone, and not Goo Off. Cuz Goo Off will take your paint with the dirt..

but the clay bar actually lifts the rust and imperfections out of the paint, not just the gooey stuff on the surface.
