you guys.. check this keychain light out.. my room mate just got one and the LED is BRIGHT AS F**k...


now.. i was thinking.. they are bright enough to mount behind the front grill .. for looks of course..

but still they are cool

I have one too.. a friend of mine was telling me about it.. Said her brother had one.. new technology.. blah blah.. I did a web search.. found a place that sold it.. Bought it for like 15 dollars. 20 with shipping.. Got it.. was very disppointed.. yes, its very bright.. But the deep blue light is useless! You can't tell depth very well or color. You can use it for self defense though.. Blind your attacker.. =P

agree....

of course.. i was thinking of usage OTHER than what it was designed for


it would be neat to find the leds and mount them in the grill... rice ? no rice ?

who cares about that s***, i thought it might look cool...

i'm not willing to pay 20 bucks htough!

I have it...

When I first saw it at the store, I was like "dang, it's so cool.." Then when I first tried to actually use it in the dark...USELESS..you can't see or read anything! It just looks good when you look directly at the light itself...

This place has high brightness LEDs and also 12V LEDs. Their keychain lights are only $12.25 I've successfully used the high brightness blue LEDs in my truck cab for footlighting.
