Found a trio of Nissan Cefiro videos...

Here's the page:
http://subzero.mine.nu/celica/

And here are the videos themselves:
http://subzero.mine.nu/celica/cefirocheck.mpg

http://subzero.mine.nu/celica/chackycefiros.mpg

http://subzero.mine.nu/celica/redcefiropass.mpg

I've only viewed the first video so far, nothing too exciting but I thought it might interest some of you. Not sure what the second and thrid videos are, I haven't DLed them yet.

I stand corrected. I thought Cefiros were VQ30DET powered. Is that the Cima I'm thinking of?

The Cedric/Gloria use the VQ30DET. The Cima uses a VQ but the base is a 2.0 something liter direct injection one with an optional 3.0 liter direct injection one. I think.. LOL

the CIMA = Q45
the base engine for the cima is the vq30det and optional is the q v8(vk45de?)

and the cedric/glorida turbo use the vq30det also

In Taiwan (can't speak 100% for Japan) the Cefiro come with a 2.0L VQ (V-6) and a 3.0L VQ (V-6). The SR20DET is not available in the car. I presume it is the same everywhere else as well.

The cefiro (4th gen) is a FWD car, it has the VQ in 3 forms depending on where in the world you live 2.0, 2.5, 3.0

Just because they may have been hand breaking doesn't mean that you can't create understeer in a FWD.

Those Cefiros are definately RWD, regardless of what engine they have. The first video shows the engine bays, the engines are mounted longitudinally, making them definately RWD.

The A31 Cefiro(shown in that video) is powered by an RB20DET engine. In the first vid you can see it, and cross reference what you see in that to any pic of a lesser older Skyline model(not G-TR, maybe GTS-T, or GT).
