1.Take out the screws at the back of the console.
2.Take off your shift ****.
3.Then pry up the gear shifter trim piece.
4.Undo the cigarete lighter connector.
5.slide the shifter trim piece over the shifter.
6.Take out the screw that holds the ashtray out.
7.Pop the ashtray out by pulling toward you. There is one clip. also take out the connector for the ashtray light.
8.There are two more screws toward the front of the console (one is hidden under the ashtray)take them out.
9.Remove the console.

If you want to take out the piece where the radio and ac controls are:
1. take out two screws at bottom where the ashtray was.
2. Be careful and pry out the top where the ac vents are. You may want to use a screwdriver with some cloth over it to not scratch the dash. Work your way around the top. Pull the vents toward you. Take off the rear defroster and hazard connectors.
3. there are two screws under the ac vents. take them out.
4. now the piece should pull out. Disconect the radio and ac connectors.
