solarguard tint...any good?

First--before anyone flames...yes, i did use the search function!

Now, me and a bunch of friends have an appointment to get SolarGuard tint installed at this place called SolarConcepts in Laurel, MD.

How good is SolarGuard tint? Is it worth $135?

Thanks.

Hmmm SolarGuard or Sungard? I have Sungard, not sure if its the same thing, but its held up reasonably well. I got mine from D&L in White Marsh.

SolarGaurd Tint

I have it on my 2k2 and it has worked out well. I also had it on another car fine there also.

However, it is a product with a life time warranty so I think it depends more on the instalation then any thing. Check the refrences of the installation Co.

Lumar tint is what you want on your car... will not ever fade and will not ever peel or crack.. lifetime warranty.

i read a post mentioning to make sure that the rear windshield is done with one piece, and not two. Does that make that much of a difference?

i had sunguard on my van once and it was pretty good. no complaints. (sungaurd and solarguard are made of the same material, just that one company split cause of complications)

I had SolarGard tint on my 89' Max. I loved that tint. No cracks, peeling, bubbles, or fade. I had mine done at TintPlus in Laurel, Md.
