I was being a cool 16 yr old with his new 93 maxima, it was raining and i decided hey it would be fun to pull the e brake while i turn in this parking lot..... put a hole in my tire.......only 12.50 to fix but i got lucky no damage to anything else... needless to say i wont do that again.

 

wow, good thing nothing else happened...but if ya don't mind me askin, what put the hole in the tire?

 

lol...Im 17, so I know the feeling to do stupid shi$ like that, but everything I do ends up costing a fortune to fix!

 

I dont know for sure but i do know that the tire it happened to was my front right one which i have been having problems with it keeps getting low on air after about a week and i half to fill it back up so maybe that had something to do with it not postative though...

 

or maybe it was just that i put to much weight on the tire and all the air squeezed out and made a hole i dont know those are my two theories

 

yeah, there mighta already been a small hole in the tire, and doing this just enlarged it...and btw, i too know the rush you felt, and the stupid things that result...i'm 16 too, but i've learned to keep my head under control most of the time now, no more stupid stuff

LOL yeah well i plan on not being quite so stupid in the future cause i dont have lotsa money to be throwing down for repairs... and i wanna start modding my car this summer soo that'll be enough stupidness from me

 

I don't think I've *ever* seen a teenager in an I30 around here. That's a cool ride to have at 17.


Yeah, I find my right hand automatically sneaking towards the e-brake sometimes, like its got a mind of its own. Then I remember I'm in a 4th gen max with stock ground clearance....probably easier to roll than an explorer Only time I yank it is on compacted snow/icy surfaces with nothing right nearby to run into. Had some good times this winter...

 

when i was 16 i decided it would be cool to have altezzas as my first mod

ive regretted them since....

 

you were lucky, i was being a dumb 16 year old and came in wide on a turn using the ebrake while raining and my rear wheel BARELY clipped the curb and broke my shock in half...wheel was dangling beneath the car... was a 150 for parts...

 

only do that in the snow ... it's awesome
