What do I use to remove paint?
What can I use to remove paint from metal. I need to get paint off my exhaust and underbody of my car as well as the black rubber trimmings around my car. Whats good to use.. product to buy?

to get it off the exhaust, lacquer thinner works great. just don't get it on your body paint.. it'll take it off too.
as for the window trim, use a pink rubber eraser (those big rectangular jobbies you used in middle school) and rub away. sounds weird, but it works. there's actually special compounds of rubber made to remove overspray sold at body supply shops, but they're quite a bit more expensive and don't work any better than a $0.39 eraser.
as for the undercarriage, I'm not sure.. I personally wouldn't worry about it.

Go to autozone or pep boys. Take alook at the paint prep section. They have this product called Aircraft remover or auto finish stripper. Powerfuel stuff and very nasty. You spray it on any metal painted finish and it will bubble up 15 mins later. You can then scrape it away and rinse it off with water.

Use carb cleaner. I know it sounds crazy but it works. Spray it onto a cotton cloth, then rub away. Be sure to spot wash the spot and wax afterward.
