97 auto vs 97 5 spd part 2...

Again racing is stupid and if you do it your stupid. BTW I am stupid

Videos will be up soon, Jared hurry up

Well round 2 starts. My auto vs d_98se 5 spd.

First race was on the highway at like 30 mph, I'd get the jump on him and he reeled me in. I was unable to catch back up. I think we stopped about 110 or so. This happened 2 or 3 times. So the 5 spd won these races.

We raced again on the highway at about 50 and I was able to stay in front of him the whole time stopped at about 110 or so. This happened once. I won.

We raced from a roll at about 20-25 mph, I won that race. Stopped at about 115 or so. Did this 2 times, I won both of them.

Raced from a stop, I did not power brake and gotted my @ss handed to me. So 5 spd wins this one.

2nd race from a stop , I did power brake, VERY close but he was winning. So 5 spd wins this race. On a side note, the local police almost nailed us, came over a hill and mr. officer friendly had someone pulled over.

So just cause we have done it and did not get caught yet, don't mean you won't.

d_98se did a MUCH better job shifting, I think NOS ( j/k dandiel )

And this goes back to my whole theroy, the 2 cars although VERY similar, have different power bands.

So 5 spd guys sleep easy, 1 of your warriors won this battle.... Next up VI for me, so I get to make power past 5000 rpms...hehehehehe...

To Be Continued...

by what margin did he win? carlength or more?

do you have your vb mod'd? do you think that would have affected the outcome?

Had a wonderful time even with the whole Cobb County PD out in full force. olice:

Your car is fast but as you said it yourself it's all in the shifting.

You definately killed me on a few of the roll's because there was no way i was going to slide in first at 25mph and avoid the rev-limiter at the same time so i kinda had some "lag" in second at 2000rpm.

JB and Pjmax good job with the honk's and camera work.

My front bumper was at his front door at about 80 or 90, then we crested a hill where blue lights were flashing.. so it was close , but to me he was winning.

vb mod, i do not know..

So what if i had bungled the 3 to 4 shift ...........you would have passed me and left me for dead. One thing i know is that once you hit triple digit's before me,it is going to be a waste of time trying to pass you.

Hey Bags, I guess OD off does make somewhat of a difference. Today when going to the track, I ran against JAY25 twice. Both times he let me go first. First time he made a big mistake by leaving it in 5th gear, even though he's SCed, leaving in 5th gear and letting me hit it first...well you know the result...lol. Second time, he put in 3rd gear and he just smoked me. Then again, what did you expect, he is SCed. Of course, I did it for fun, knowing I would get smoked. I got somewhat of a revenge when I raced Maximapower on the way back.
