How much do you pay for insurance on your Maxima?
#41
Most insurance companies list the maxima and the accord as high rate cars. I think it's because both these cars have high theft rates. I would say keep calling around, it can't really hurt. Also, if you add other things to your policy (home owners insurance/renters) you get multi-policy discounts.
Me: 23yrs old, Philly suburb, PA
1997 Maxima SE
1 minor accident, but less then $400 so no effect
1 ticket, disobeying a traffic control device
USAA insurance with high coverage
$1600/year
My friend: 24yrs old, Philly suburb,PA
1995 Maxima GLE
1 major accident, not at fault
2 tickets, speeding
State Farm
$1000/year - but also has a motorcycle on his policy

Justin,
When I still had my 97SE, I was paying $1088/year through State Farm. I was 29 at the time.
I'm still with State Farm now, and I pay $2700/year for my 2000 S4, 2000 GMC truck, 1998 Honda VFR, and 1990 Honda HawkGT. For reference, my S4 by itself is $1280/year.
