Yeah they are supposed to go the other way,
but my car is to low so you have turn the tire to drive up on them,next time I will turn my tire the other way and drive up forward on it the other way around.No harm no foul.
Were you under there? Would've been freaky if you were.

No I did not go under there,
What do you think I am crazy !! haha.I fixed it first and then went under.Scary thing was when I found out {after a few pics,come on it was a Kodak moment} I had to get back in my car real gentle and balance the clutch in first before I released the hand brake to avoid rolling back any and causing a disaster.But I did it perfectly so no problem.

I think he got it done somewhere. Word of advice. Try using a strong thin piece of wood inbetween the wheel and the ramp next time. I should make the angle less steep and allow your car to go up the ramp the CORRECT way. That reverse ramp stuff is obvisously not the way to go. Or try to use the ramps on a decline to get more clearance for the front end.

I agree, next time use a jack with jack stands. Whenever I have to go under my car I am lucky enough to have a mechanic as a neighbour to lend me his expensive jack and jack stands. If it wasn't for my good neighbour, I would probably go to my local auto shop and get them to do it.

ok so let's say u need to work on the brakes or take a tire off..well u can't do that w/ a ramp.
if you are afraid to get under the car w/ a jack then you might need to get a better one. i have a 3ton jack at home and that thing is solid. that's one piece of equipment that i don't compromise. also jack stands are stable if they are adjusted correctly. also a solid set of jack stands will help.
(THIS IS IN NO WAY REFERRING TO ANYONE ON HERE..SO RELAX)
it's funny how some people claim that they did everything on their car but they don't own a proper jack. i see a lot of people use the e-jack from the back to do oil changes, tire rotation..etc etc...that's not the correct jack to use when your working on your ride. go bite the bullet and spend at least $140 bucks on a jack...try to get one that's made in the US also.

questions about floor jacks and jack stands..
what type of jack should i buy? i saw this nifty one at sears. sorta looks like the kind racers use where u pump them up by a big lever. also, where are the jack points on the unibody? i know the manual states those notches as the proper sites, but what if i use another style jack? where do the jack stands go also? can i just put them on a solid looking suspension piece? thanks for any help.
